Project 2A: Lalin Edit
We were given clips from former students and we tried to cut them to around 45 seconds first.

For one of the scenes where the male lead fades out, I look up on how to apply Cross Dissolve in Premiere Pro.

Afterwards, I tried to colour correct it and colour grade it using adjustment layer. I tried to go for a sad mood to fit the clips.

Lastly, I added the text messages and the phone notification sound effects.

Project 2B: Movie Trailer EEAAO
First, we were given some examples of scenes from EEAAO to film as a group.
Here below are some behind the scenes pictures:

Progress of Editing:
After filming, we had to individually edit the clips that we filmed and merge them into a trailer in Premiere Pro. I tried to draft out the flow of the trailer first on Notepad.

After arranging the flow of the trailer, I try to colour correct the clips that we have.

After colour correction, I apply colour grading using the adjustment layer.

I also used sound effects for one of the scenes which involved punching:
To make the trailer more cinematic, I tried to find a suitable background cinematic music:

Afterwards, I added the necessary texts for the trailer and adding a zoom in effect by changing the scale of the texts.

I also added some reverb to one of the dialogues at the front of the trailer to make it echoed a little.

REFLECTIONS
Overall, I had a lot of fun during this project, especially in Project 2B where we got to film as a group because it is my first time experiencing a production shoot. It was also quite fun to plan and edit the video afterwards. As the producer, I was kind of scared at first that we won't be able to finish the shooting on time but I am glad we managed it without much problem by setting a time limit for each of the scenes.
